Well, first of all, I'm a New Yorker. It will always be a New Yorker. I love the city and what it represents. And when you look at my role as mayor, it I was a police officer, state senator, borough president, then mayor. but it was also what happened before that. Growing up in poverty, dyslexic, and really not wanting to go to school because I could not understand why I couldn't read, to look at my life and experiences that my family went through.
