That was an issue I led into session wanting to get rid of the small school penalty and extend acetar for our small rural schools. The biggest disappointment I had during session was We were not able to pass HB21, which would have significantly improved where our schools are. And I'm hopeful that there's enough latitude in what I'm seeing here from Governor Greg Abbott's call list that we can do something to help these acetar dependent schools to eliminate the small school penalty.
