Throughout the year, We warned residents about emerging cryptocurrency scams, took action against robocalls, secured settlements from companies who made false claims, and strengthened protections for seniors. This includes a 1.5 million dollar settlement with Dollar General for charging higher prices than what was advertised on their shelves, and a settlement with American Mint for their use of negative option features for their subscriptions.
