“I was honored to be chosen as co Chair of the national association of Attorneys General Consumer Protection Committee to help lead the Attorney General community's efforts to protect consumers. Last year, our office saw an alarming surge in reported fraud, with losses totaling more than $75 million, up from 45 million the year before. While those numbers are staggering and heartbreaking, there is also hope. Through our efforts, we were able to recover more than $650,000 for victims of scams.” (01:08–01:19)
