These stories that we heard at our teen talks have been used in ongoing discussions with social media companies because they provide real world situations to our once anecdotal concerns. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Our report provides calls to action for students, parents, school administrators, and governmental leaders such as myself. And I always say this, this is very important. Technology and innovation are critical, amazing things for society. That being said, like any other tool, if used by the wrong people in the wrong way, they can be unbelievably damaging. (08:36–08:45)
