And we were very much engaged on texting, on phone banking, all of the things that we had to do during that Covid election. But we were able to prevail in the general election. We unseated a Republican, John Morlock, who was seen as an institution in Orange county, had been an elected official for something like 30 years. and no one thought he could be beaten. And we were able to do that and overperform other democrats quite significantly in that election cycle because of our grassroots powered approach. (11:36–11:45)
