We keep taking a band aid approach to funding our public school system, and it's frankly a dereliction of the legislature's duty to not overhaul the system. I think we need to look at the, the basic allotments. We need to look at funding full day pre K. We need to invest in teacher professional development. These are all things that we've taken band aid approaches on. And I think that we've got money in the rainy day fund that we can invest for better outcomes. (18:52–18:55)
