I was just starting to to plan my initiative called 95 Wisconsin. So this is what got me into this race. So the fact is, is that 95% of children can learn how to read well enough to go to college and have a career as long as they receive phonics in the early grades. And we use the science of reading to teach our children how to read. So 95%. Right now in Wisconsin, we have a reading crisis. Really, we have a reading crisis across the country. (04:18–04:30)
