We must deliver greater certainty and economic stability for American consumers, American workers and American families. And specifically, trade policy should prioritize strengthening relationships with our allies rather than increasing reliance on our adversaries. On March 26, the European Parliament voted to advance a U.S.-EU agreement on the reciprocal fair and balanced trade originally agreed to last July. And I welcome efforts to strengthen our economic relationship with these key allies like the European Union. (01:02–01:09)
