The first one was the spring of 2020 when we had this wrenching situation where the governor called for the elections to be postponed because of COVID as it happened in so many other states. Republicans sued. They got the state Supreme Court to override the governors executive order. The US Supreme Court followed suit immediately and curtailed absentee ballots. Republicans had insisted on going forward with this election, even though most of the polling places in Milwaukee had closed by that point. (13:33–13:39)
