But freezing the gas tax isn't enough, not when gas is so expensive. So today I'm signing an executive order declaring a state of emergency related to gas prices. This order will reduce the gas tax by 10 cents per gallon, and it should reduce gas prices by 10 cents per gallon for Kentuckians. I'm asking it to take effect as soon as possible.
