“I'm glad to share that our request for a 30 day extension for Disaster Unemployment Assistance registration period for those impacted by the severe storm straight line winds and tornadoes that occurred May 16th and 17th has been approved. The deadline has been extended to August 22nd, 2025 for disaster survivors in all counties designated for individual assistance. As a reminder, those counties are Caldwell, Laurel, Pulaski, Russell, Trigg and Union. Those eligible can apply by visiting the Kentucky Career center website at kcc.ky.gov or calling 502-564-2900 to file the initial claim.” (28:01–28:11)
