And sometimes these kinds of things have been spoken about as if they're intention, when in fact they are reflections of what a successful school system looks like. And when it comes to policing, I firmly believe that New Yorkers should never have to choose between safety and justice. And so to me, yes, I'm proud of the fact that we have the fewest murders and shootings and shooting victims and in recorded New York City history over the course of these first six months.
