I don't recall having any experiences in our city that really do stand out to me at a personal level. But I think one thing that has stood out to me is that for quite some time in our city, New Yorkers have been made to feel as if they have to choose between safety and justice. And I think it's critically important that we deliver the both of them and show that, in fact, that isn't a choice that has to be made any longer. (25:58–26:03)
