If and when TPS expires, hundreds of thousands more will be condemned to the same devastation. The resolution we have introduced today makes our thoughts on the matter clear. We condemn the widespread gender based violence. We stress the importance of women's leadership in Haiti's transition. And we urge the United States to abide by its commitments under the Women in Peace and Security Act. (03:03–03:08)
