But I also think that we as a society and the wealthiest society in the history of humanity have an obligation to cover everybody who cannot get covered through employers, right. Or who doesn't, who don't like their employer offered coverage so that There is a meaningful and good public option for people to go to as a baseline that everybody will absolutely get no questions asked if they want it. And so that's where I end up coming down on it. I also think that having a public option and having some public version of Medicare for everybody who wants it is a key part of competing with the private sector. (31:01–31:13)
