Taxes is a big issue for me because it's my humble opinion that we don't have a tax revenue issue. In fact, I don't think we should be paying more taxes at all. We have a spending problem. Two years ago, we, this country generated the highest tax revenue in the history of this country and increased our deficit by another trillion dollars. What that tells me is, is that you could keep taxing people all you want. If you're going to keep spending, then you're never going to actually get to the bottom of the problem, which is our deficit.
