It's not compassion to make somebody more dependent on the government. The compassionate thing to do is to help them achieve their independence from it. We're going to take every public expenditure in this state and make sure it is visible to the public on the blockchain from the state level to every municipality, to every locality, to every county. You deserve to see as taxpayers how your money is actually being spent because sunlight is the best disinfectant. Transparency is the way forward for our state. (13:54–14:07)
