You know, and one thing I bring up is I think one, people need to understand the significant amount of harm that's going to be done to millions of Texans, particularly Hispanic and black Texans. If this map goes through, Hispanic Texans will be the most underrepresented, most discriminated group in all 50 states, surpassing the level of discrimination in the Deep South. that still currently exists. I think Mississippi has some of the biggest gaps in terms of its representation with its black residents. (17:48–17:59)
