Today I'm announcing that my administration will be establishing a commutation advisory Board separate from our pardon Advisory board. This new board will be comprised of experts and folks who have experience in both the criminal justice and correction systems. These folks will come together to review applications to recommend or not recommend shorter sentences for individuals who apply and are on the way to completing their sentence. (02:08–02:17)
