That's the reality become all too often. In 2024 we saw a historic number of school referendums on the ballot and 169 of those referendum passed. Nearly 400 referendums passed in the last four years. So the good news is Wisconsinites have shown this legislature time and time again the support increasing investments in our public schools. The bad news is Wisconsinites had to raise their own property taxes to prove it. (28:46–28:51)
