They can do what they want. But I would hope that they support American troops in the field, and I would hope they vote to keep Americans safe while they're at home. Shutting down the Department of Homeland Security in the middle of a conflict is an absolutely irresponsible, irrational, insane idea. Unfortunately, Senate Democrats seem to be in love with this particular tool. It's bad for the country. I think ultimately it will be bad for them politically. Okay. (04:11–04:21)
