I actually co sponsored one of the bills that would set in place that ban on large institutional buyers. What we've seen in some communities across America is They've established a near monopoly of home value by buying up the single-family homes in some communities across our country. And it's not quite as pronounced here in mid Michigan, but it is a massive problem in many other parts of the country and we can't allow that to continue to spread. (07:58–08:08)
