There are countless people that I've spoken to that have said the cost to try and adopt a child in the United States is becoming out of reach for middle class families in our country. Right now, it can be over $30,000 to adopt a child in the United States today. That's something that I think we ought to lean into trying to reduce those barriers so that families can adapt. Right now There are nearly 50 abortions in the United States for every single adoption that takes place. (10:39–10:45)
