It's about time we get the federal government out of our classrooms. Our classrooms, our curriculum, our education should start with the family, should start with our community, not from DC. And The Department of Education has not been a part of the solution. They're part of the problem. We've had underpaid teachers for a generation and the DOE has not solved that problem yet.
