Many of you know that I'm very, very worried about President Trump's decision to wage war on his own against boats in the Pacific and Caribbean and threaten war against the nation of Venezuela. I have brought war powers resolutions to the floor of the Senate and forced my colleagues to vote on the question of whether the president should be able to wage war without Congress. A month or so back, we were not able to get sufficient votes to pass my resolutions, although we did get some Republican support. Not quite enough, but I'm going to renew these motions. (00:11–00:20)
