I was on the Senate Armed Services Committee and I introduced legislation that would bar money from the Department of Defense for language training to any university that has a Confucius center on campus. And That legislation got bipartisan support, actually got Democrats to support my legislation. We passed it out of the Armed Services Committee, we passed it out of the Senate and Obama signed it into law. It resulted in dozens of Confucius Centers shutting down across the country.
