I launched an investigation, along with several of my colleagues on, on the health panel that I sit on, into the four major manufacturers of asthma inhalers. They set the list price, and In America, that list price [for asthma inhalers] is between 200 and $650 per inhaler. In Europe, the same inhalers cost between five and $75. five and $75. It's outrageous, the difference. And so our investigation asked them two questions. One is, why are you charging Americans 10, 15, 20 times more than you are overseas? (07:51–08:10)
