You know, one thing I would say is that there is something to be said for experience and in a body that also is based in some parts, in some ways on seniority, the opportunities that Wisconsinites have. Because of my experience, I chair a subcommittee of the Appropriations committee based on my seniority that funds the Labor Department, the Health and human Services department and the education department. I fight for Wisconsin and our education, our health and human services funding, the NIH in that measure. Every year, Wisconsin gains mightily by my experience and by my seniority just because of that position. (16:45–16:59)
