We need to invest more in job training and in supporting our skilled workforce. We support workers and businesses by protecting WIOA and its investments in job training across the country. And by passing legislation like The National Apprenticeship act... would create close to a million new apprenticeship opportunities. And by passing legislation like my bill called the Early Educators Apprenticeship act, which establishes a grant program under WIOA to help train early childhood educators, another field in which we have a tremendous shortage of workers and desperately need more of them.
