But to both of your points, the solution then is the second thing, which is we gotta remember that the power is still ours, that the Constitution gives to the states the authority to control elections. There is no federal control of elections. What The federal government can seat members of Congress, it can accept electoral college votes from the states. And when the judiciary, when the Supreme Court and the judiciary decides to do its job, it can enforce federal law that requires a bit of uniformity or at least, you know, the illusion of fairness across the execution of elections.
