And while I'm listing that Republicans have done these things, that's because they're the ones who hold the political power. But it's borrowed power. They borrowed that power from Americans. And you are absolutely right. It's a piece of paper. That piece of paper had a lot more negative, horrible things on it before the civil rights movement, before we got the Civil Rights act of 1964 and the Voting Rights act of 1965.
