And one of the things that helped kind of prolong the ability for those senators, those Democratic senators to go to Illinois is the Secretary of State has to validate the bill so it countersigns the bill for it to become law. And Doug La Follette refused to countersign the bill, giving them extra days to kind of organize. And so when all of that happened and played out the next budget cycle, they cut his staff to basically one relocated him from across the street. (20:09–20:18)
