I was ashamed to hear that uttered on this floor today because I know that many Americans, many Wisconsin residents, do a lot of effort to help those when they're most in need, including in operation allies. Welcome, Mr. Speaker. I spent weeks living at Fort McCoy working with Afghan refugees when their own right wing government took over and Kabul fell. I was proud to be part of that effort.
