The purpose of our university is to serve the traditional function of, of what a university should be. The pursuit of truth, the promotion of academic rigor and ultimately preparing our students to be citizens of this republic. So In the state of Florida, we were the first state to eliminate DEI from our public university system. We've also enacted trailblazing legislation which you guys should try to do here. If you could ever get a governor that would sign it is all tenured professors in Florida must undergo at review every five years and can be terminated for poor performance. (11:56–12:04)
