People were just buying things like sight unseen, they would go and, and they would do it. And so what that did is the local governments, they increased the valuations of all the properties. So In 2019, local governments were taking in 32 billion a year in property tax revenue for all these services. Today that number is 60 billion. Now look, there's been population growth, there's been inflation. Maybe throw a few percent in there just for the heck of that does not get you to 60 billion. (08:24–08:37)
