It's true when you talk about even run of the mill policy issues in terms of how that interacts. But when you talk about law and order, we know what works and we know policies that don't work. If you enact policies that will prematurely release felons back onto the street, you are going to get more crime. They've tried it in other states, they've instituted it in other states.
