One of the things I'm actually proud of is I've been the no vote. When my party has voted yes on something, I'm not opposed. I represent the people of the 10th Senate District, and what I think is good for them is irrelevant on whether or not it aligns with party votes. So I'm not scared to vote against my party and have done so in the past and will continue to do so if I think that's the right decision for the 10th Senate District. (22:37–22:45)
