And I was in the back offices of many big banks doing conversion work through the financial crisis. So, you know, I was in the military during 9 11, and then During the mortgage crisis of 08 09, I was in the banking industry working to help big banks comply with new federal programs like Dodd Frank. and basically to shore up the financial system. So I learned a lot about how the economy works, how jobs are created, and I take that with me into the role that I now have in the State House. (04:19–04:31)
