Rep. Moore Discusses Rep. Steube's Letter to Honor Catholic Veterans' Faith on Headstones

Published | Video Starts at 00:05

Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I also rise in support of the manager's amendment. On April 10th, I joined Congressman Greg Stube and several of my colleagues on a letter to the Department of Veterans Affairs urging the agency to approve the crucifix as an eligible emblem of belief for inscription on headstones at national cemeteries. And I want to particularly thank the full committee ranking member, DeLauro, for working across the aisle to ensure that Catholic soldiers who defended their nation are honored in a way that reflects their deeply held beliefs.
