They know firsthand about this problem of hot cars. Five years ago, I introduced the Hot Cars act and it was passed by the United States Congress. It was part of the 2022 Infrastructure and Jobs Investment Act. Five years ago, this law required that regulations be implemented, requiring an alert reminder, effective technology.
