And the high cost of everyday life in Vermont is dulling the tools we put in place to keep and attract working families. In three weeks, I'll present my budget for fiscal year 2025 and it will be a much different picture than previous years. Sobering comes to mind with historic one time federal aid ending another large increase in our pension obligation, last year's spending decision is catching up to us. (24:26–24:36)
