Canada is one of our closest allies and our closest neighbor here in Washington State. But Trump has insulted them. He started a trade war with them and he repeatedly inflamed tensions. There were more than 1 million fewer of our Canadian friends visiting our state this past year. I was in Blaine last year speaking with local leaders on both sides of the border.
