“And then finally, let's wrap up in Superior, the oil refinery there. And of course, we already know the problems that can come with fossil fuels, but Producing [fossil fuels] as well can lead to some air quality issues. Yeah, so Cenavus Energy from Canada bought this refinery in 2021. It's the state's only oil refinery. And since the, since late 2023, the DNR alleges there have been 27 violations, including emissions of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and greenhouse gases.” (42:29–42:33)
