In my view, it is essential for us to have a barrier against our southern border to also have a very firm and effective E VERIFY system. I also think that We need to have a trust tracking system that identifies people who come here illegally on a visa and may not have returned home. These kinds of things all have to be put in place. The president has also said we need to end chain migration, which is the idea that remote family members all get to come into the country if there's one legal person already here. (36:45–36:52)
