That's not the experience I had when I was a member of Congress over a decade ago. I put coalitions together. I got things done. I am a Michigan first guy. The reason I'm running is Michigan is in trouble. You think about the last eight years and 32 years of the same party in the United States Senate representing Michigan and look where we are. We're now 45th. We went down from last year in education. Our median wages are flat and now dropping. We're losing population. We've lost 30,000 manufacturing jobs. I'm going to go back, I'll build coalitions and I'm going to deliver for Michigan. (00:49–01:05)
