We must similarly bond together with our democratic allies to curb the rising threats our foes pose to our national security and the security of the free world. That's why I introduced legislation to create a NATO like alliance in the Indo Pacific. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues in Washington to advance this bill and maintaining the dialogue I've had with our Indo Pacific partners, including the Republic of Korea.
