They're afraid to go to pediatrician appointments. They're afraid to go to the hospital when they actually have an emergency condition and need help. They're afraid to go to court. You know, I've talked to many DAs. As a former prosecutor, I understand that it's not a good situation when ICE has scared victims away from courthouses from testifying or victims from the going to court to report crimes. And that's why I put that in the legislation that I filed. ICE needs to have a judicial warrant if they're going to be acting around courthouses and then schools. (20:04–20:17)
