During my time in Congress, one of my proudest moments was the passage of the Camp Lejeune justice act, which was included in the Honoring Our Pact act, the Burn Pits Bill. The Camp Lejeune justice act allows veterans who were injured or who died [and] their families as a result of contaminated water at Camp Lejeune to finally file for just compensation and have their day in court. As the author of the Camp Lejeune Justice Act, I'm going to continue to advocate on behalf of all military members and their families. (01:19–01:35)
