It actually would do what Scott Walker did by banning public employee unions. It would do that federally. It would allow states to ban unions so they could go after that. It would grant employers the ability to retaliate against union organizers, which is illegal under current federal law. It allows bosses to eliminate contracts midterm. The whole idea of a contract is a contract, and it would allow you to overturn those, essentially making unions far less able to protect workers. (42:15–42:24)
